Who is Kevin Brown?
Kevin Brown is the Executive Vice President of Global Operations and Chief Supply Chain Officer at Dell Technologies. He also sits on the Board of Directors for The Kroger Co., one of the world’s largest retailers with over 2,800 grocery stores operating under brand names including Kroger, Harris Teeter, Fred Meyer, Ralph’s, Mariano’s, and more.
In 2016, Kroger pledged to go fully cage-free by 2025. It’s 2026, and hens are still crammed in cages, each with barely the space of a sheet of paper, unable to move, unable to live, unable to spread their wings. Kroger had 10 years. It chose profit over its promise every single time.
The Kroger Co. states, “Mr. Brown has established himself as an authority on sustainable business practices.” Does allowing millions of hens to suffer needlessly in disgusting, cruel cages align with sustainable business practices? Or is Kevin Brown building a track record of prioritizing profit over quality and integrity?
He also serves on the boards of the Howard University Center for Supply Chain Excellence, George Washington University, the JFK Library Foundation, and The Hotchkiss School.
Let Kevin Brown know that you won’t stand for animal cruelty at The Kroger Co., and make him do something about it NOW.
